The All Assam Small Scale Industries Association was established in the year 1991 having its own building at Industrial estate, Bamunimaidam, Guwahati has over 400 members from all over the state and from various fields of industries.

Main Objective of the Association

• Dissemination of information to existing & Prospective entrepreneurs.
• Suggestions to state govt. on preparation of the Industrial Policy.
• Various problems common to all members as well as individual problems are taken up in the different forums.
• Conduct awareness programme on different state/ central schemes in different districts of the state.
• Weekly counseling to member units/new entrepreneurs.
• Strict monitoring of the state preferential store purchase act.
• Liaison with state/ central Govt. & other promotional agencies.
• Advise the state Govt. on creation of industrial infrastructure at different districts in different locations.
• Assist entrepreneurs by providing necessary guidance to set up and nip their industries,
• Seminars & workshops on various topics.
• Organize Industrial Exhibitions.
